The program extends from the knowledge obtained at Certificate Level and concentrates on providing students with the additional knowledge, skills and techniques required for the efficient management of hotel & catering operations. Students may choose to continue with their studies and graduate with an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management. At the end of the program, students will be able to understand:

  • Accounting, Purchasing & Cost Control
  • The Human Resource in Hospitality
  • Marketing for Hospitality & Tourism
  • Strategic Management in Hospitality
  • Customer Service, organizational behavior & Hospitality Management
  • Economics & Hospitality
  • Environmental Management in the Hospitality Industry

Entry requirement – KCSE D or KCE Division III or Certificate in Hospitality Management.
Duration – 18 months (6 terms)
Examining Body – Institute of Commercial Management (ICM)
Fees – 18,000 per term
